Exhibition of Russian watercolorists from April 14 to 19, 2024. Surprisingly, it was on these April dates that the story of the liner “Titanic” took place. The basic tools for working with watercolors are brushes.

To keep creating, it's important to care for your magic brush wands.

A few tips to help you in this difficult endeavor:

-After every painting session, it is recommended that you rinse your brush well. Dried paint can damage its integrity. 

-Brushes should be dried on a horizontal or inclined surface with the nap downwards. 

-When completely dry, store the brush in a clean and dry place with the pile side up. 

-Do not leave the brush in water for long periods of time. Being on the bottom, it will deform. 

Don't neglect these tips and your brushes will last for years to come.

Vegan Inktober

Inktober is getting closer! I have participated in Inktober three times already and even won prizes. But the biggest prize was the publication of my

black-and-white illustrations in the book "Titanic Day by Day". The book is unique, its author is Simon Medhurst, great-grandson of the helmsman Robert Hitchens. The book is sold worldwide in English.

Art supplies may contain ingredients derived from animal products. For example, paints, mediums, and even paper may contain bone charcoal, gelatin, bovine bile, rabbit collagen, eggs, carmine, and shellac.
